Hi Folks

I'm a keen vaper looking to share ideas and debates with, i love my tubes and have become a dripping junkie over the past few years, always keen to discuss and share ideas.

The industry is moving forward and its hard keeping up sometimes, anyone with similar interests please feel free to say hi.

Welcome from another relative newbie to the forums. I've found this place (and a couple of other forums) incredibly welcoming and helpful when asking for tips, tricks and feedback.

Also, can't vote on your poll, as I've only tried a Kennedy 25mm for a moment while trying out the Vindicator 21700 (but I did like it), which I ended up picking up and am very happy with, but I must admit I don't care for the Goon. Picked up an OG in a trade with something else, and the thing just has waaaaaay to much air for me, even on two holes, and I find rhe flavour muted with just one hole. Definitely going up with some other stuff for sale when I pass the 100 posts mark on here, although, I can see the advantages too it if you're into series building and need that extra airflow. Just doesn't suit my tastes in vaping, where I prefer a slightly more restricted vape (Original Recoil flavour cap for really restricted dual, or CSMNT shut down 1/4 for a more open dual)

Hi Nathan - Definitely agree, when stacked the Goon really does perform, i tend to build low even when stacking so that extra airflow is well needed, for me the Kennedy just ticks all the boxes when using a single tube, i can't really comment on anything regulated as it's been years since having one. Have you tried the Knuckle RDA ? Potentially a little to airy again for you if the Goon is too much, there are 5 air holes but all are very adjustable so you can really find that sweet spot, 25 or 24 ml as well which ticks a few boxes (nobody likes over/under hang) The Goon's have never been my go to RDA but recently its been a good edition to my Broadsides.

Love the look of it, but I doubt it would be for me. Looks like it's a series single coil style rda, like the Deathtrap, and I've never really had the itch to try out series vaping. How do you run your Kennedy? From what I remember, it's substantially more restricted than a goon, which is why it's on my "maybe when I've got money saved after splurging on the Vindicator" list.

Very restricted in comparison to the Goon, simply just less airflow which effects everything, having 2 posts makes the build easy and i tend to position the coils far lower than normal so i'm close to the airflow, a big negative is bottom fed airflow, takes a little getting used to so there's no excess pissing down the airflow. I love the way the Kennedy looks and performs though, if you position it all correctly its good, do it wrong and its in the cupboard while the Goon takes all the glory, single tube however having all that space makes it my go to RDA on a single tube. So far to date The Knuckle is king for me, looks awesome as well.

That's definitely more my speed. Might have to grab a clone to try it out while putting pennies to the side for an authentic. Is it finicky in terms of build you put in as well as placement. I have a Reload X as well, and with a dual fused, 2.5mm 0.14 ohm build, the flavour is exceptional. Put any other build in it, and I just find it muted and lackluster. I think any larger coil, whether ID or number of wraps, just seems to choke the circulation of air in the atomizer. Think if I went to the expense of a Kennedy, I'd want it to replace my recoil as my all day vape. The difference in juice consumption between the recoil (2x26/36, 3mm id claptons at 0.18 vs. the same wire at 2.5mm coming in at 0.14) and the reload x are astounding. But then I guess that is a difference of around 20 watts.

Sounds good, i forgot about the Culverin (how could i) again a decent airy vape built in my opinion for series/stacked builds, as you know it's all just opinion.

Anything i own has to be airy, on a singular tube i build at .08 so its well needed, i found myself buying RDA after RDA but the Goon, Kennedy and Culvern suit me so far to the ground. Looking at a triple 21700 box, RDA wise the Centurion would sit nicely, waiting till the new year at least.

Always taking it to another level haha !!!

Funnily enough the Kennedy and Culverin are the only two dual coild rdas I have any interest in. I thought the culverin looked fairly restricted, sort of similar to the Kennedy, but it sounds like it's more airy than something I'd go for.

The Culverin is better to use as a stacked than the Kennedy IMO

There are so many out there and I’ve spent so much money on RDA’s I always come back to the same 2/3

Cotton for example. I’ve bought it all and I can’t beat cotton bacon, and with the prime now available it just can’t be beaten for my needs and requirements.
