Keeping track of your batteries

Always worth mentioning when talking about removing battery wraps: If you're using something metal to cut the wrap do NOT let it touch both the positive connection in the centre of the top and the outside of the battery at the same time. That's a potentially disastrous short-circuit. If you have to use scissors or a knife to cut the wrap to start peeling it off do it at the bottom!

If you do want to write details on battery, date, mah, amp etc.
You can use combination of sharpie and rewrapping.
Remove old wrap, write on metal side of battery then use a translucent or clear wrap to rewrap.
I would prefer translucent as its harder to see any future damage to clear wraps.

Poundland nail varnish, red and black, dot dot dash or whatever. Probably get a bollocking for this but minor damage to a wrap I have been known to use clear nail varnish.

I use a sharpie pen to mark mine then put a small piece sellotape over it to stop it rubbing off.

I have a crazy idea. It might be a bit out there but here goes... I'll take two batteries out of their case and put them into position 1 and position two in the charger. Then I'll take the second set and put them into position 3 and 4 in the charger. I'll repeat as necessary.

When it comes time to remove them from said charger and put them back into their cases I'll remove them in the same order I put them in.

Where`s your sense of adventure.

I never use dual battery mods It's not that they're too bulky I just don't like the way they look.
If I want all day battery life I just use a single 21700 with a mtl setup.

I do change My wraps on a schedule and after 5 re wraps (I mark under the wrap with a sharpie) I retire batteries.
Then to be used with things like ohm tabs and torches until they get recycled.

Re wrapping batteries is not difficult in the slightest try it once and you'll realise its the easiest and safest solution to your question.
