A company I do all the IT for for sells delivered ready meals to the elderly. We have a website but most of our customers prefer to order by phone so we run a call center in Edinburgh. We have a couple of hundred thousand elderly, vulnerable customers who rely on us to get food.
As you can imagine demand has skyrocketed. We are doing more orders per hour this month than we did per day a month ago.
The website and warehouse systems have held up (It bloody should, we built it to be scalable) but we need people to man the phones and they need training
I've got another 25 PCs to build tomorrow for home-workers.
