KFL+ build/vape not yet how I want it

One word of recommendation, not advice as such, like many, I always coiled around precision screwdrivers. One day I was given a coiling jig, great idea, but not quite what I was after, been down the Coil Master route too, still not quite what I wanted......... Then, for literally Pennies, this arrived.

Yeah I can see one of those landing in the basket on my next fasttech order. Which is probably going to be a nemesis clone - Now I'm settled on the KFL as my most used tank I need a reliable second battery that can be used out and about. A mech mod seems a good idea now I am into rebuildables. Simple, cheap, reliable, spares, will survive post TPD.

Haha!! I did that this morning, ordered that tool suggested by Rob, a Nemmy clone & added that top filling cap suggested a few pages back

You mean what material I use? I have some pads of organic cotton I got from the local B&M. I was reading a thread about the cotton bacon stuff and that sounds pretty good so I'm going to give that a try once my cotton runs out. At the moment I still can't rely on any other Kayfun build than my menthol one 100% of the time, so I'm running 3 KFLs with my 3 flavours in alongside 3 Mini Nautilus' with the same flavours in as a backup if I manage to wick a Kayfun wrong or starts tasting bad earlier than I anticipate. I'm finding the vanilla flavour most finniky (SP?). Whether that's just coincidence that I'm managing to wick it wrong every time, something wrong with the coil or the juice I'm not sure yet. I've put 4/5 new wicks in so far so it would be a hell of a coincidence for it to be that. The juice is fine in my Nautilus, so I can rule that out. I'm going to try making a new coil for that one to see how that performs.

Definitely a spaced coil around 1.3 ohms works for me much better than the microcoil at 1.7 that seems popular.

Still not 100% cracked it, but I will. I've found the setup I like, I think consistency is key now. Getting it bang on every time. Funny thing is that to me it feels and looks as though I've made the same setup every time, yet very slight differences seem to make a big difference to the vape.
