I'm confused so badly I'm crawling inside myself.
Thanks. I think. I'm just baiting my MP now [emoji6]
Your confused?!? I'm the one posting on 3 different mediums with three different names lol. A few of the team post on Twitter, but 99% of the time if you get a reply it is me. Sometimes me posting something we have agreed on, but generally me doing the typing.
Exactly. The regret motions are a distraction. Nothing more.Parliamentary Guide to Proceedings:
" ... an amendment or motion may be moved regretting some aspect of a statutory instrument but in no way requiring the government to take action. This provides an opportunity for critical views to appear on the order paper and be voted upon which would otherwise simply be voiced in the debate. Such motions are invitations to the House to put on record a particular point of view. Even if carried, the motion or amendment has no practical effect ..."
Gotcha. Thank you ma'am.
I've got everything crossed but this Alexander email has made me inadvertently puff out my chest again. I'm hoping her opinion is isolated as the remaining 5 plus Corbyn seem awful quiet.
Well you know your onions, and as I'm as blunt as they come I reserve Sir and ma'am for people I have a good amount of respect for.I'm not a ma'am, I am a vaper same as every other bugger here. derringer and smpl combo (clone) with standard dual coils at 0.65ohms and some rather tasty blackpowder purchased from @PlumeBlu at Vape Collective the other weekend, I just happen to have got myself involved in politics. Bloody vaping, look where it has got me lol

Yep, when the ViP team first saw the new motions last night we were pleased, rapidly followed by deep suspicion. Clearly Lord Hunt is going to be in favour of keeping the bill in it's current form, he certainly was in the debate. Baroness Walmsley also has a history of being less than amicable on the subject of vaping. It was a distinct possibility that these were a distraction put in place to allow the Lords to show disapproval and yet keep the bill intact. I think the wording of Heidi's letter confirms that.
