What's new

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome our MP's to our World...

About time too!!! I bet their smoking shelter's got leather armchairs in it and a mini bar!!!

It's not good news at all. It sends the wrong message and in case anyone has forgotten, this is the place which will determine the future of regulation. The report is full of 'old' junk science and I hope this is overturned.

As for not allowing the charging of ecigs because of risk of explosion....aargh

You'd hope something would happen about this, afterall, if the vaping MP's can't be arsed to kick up a fuss about their own vaping rooms, they sure as hell won't lift a finger for vaping in general.

I thought it was the EU Commission and not HM's Govt who will determine the future of regulation?

Not quite as it is for individual governments to interpret the rules set out in the TPD, literally or not. If literal we are fucked. There aren't many ecigs available that can be said to be 'leak' or 'tamper' proof for example. We tamper all the time. It's what we do. We might interpret it to be leak resistant....etc

Look on the bright side. ASH have released their new documents. As a lobbying group who are totally in bed with the MHRA - it could be helpful.

My view is that if some of the Whitehall elite vapers are affected by a vaping ban, they might take a bit more of an interest. I wouldn't put money on it.

They are being affected by the same bullshit science the rest of us are. They MIGHT just be as pissed off as the rest of us. Again, I wouldn't put money on it. Too many troughs to get their snouts into...

Personally, I don't give much of a fiddlers fuck anymore. My efforts peaked pre-TPD vote and witnessing the farce that is so called "democracy" in action has jaded me beyond repair.

What will be will be. I feel sorry for the poor bastards who will be robbed of a chance to help themselves to better health and wealth. Not to mention the commercial entities who will be run into the ground.

Who the fuck ever imagined that anyone would ever be able to vape in parliament ? As if it would be allowed !
