Hi.
A follow up to my previous post on leaking Kangers..After watching several you tube vids I Decided i would try rebuilding the heads to improve the vape..I am over seventy and have very big hands so i did not think it would be easy, the first one took me 25 mins but after that i built 6 in a half an hour..I used 30 Kanthal a1 wire and cotton wool for wick,i used 5 wraps of wire and got ohms of between 1.9 and 2.1 over the seven coils.and after seeing a tip on one of the forums i inverted the plastic cap that covers wick,so that they were completely open to the juice.
And bingo not only a 100% better vape and flavour i have not had any leaks or gurgling probs.
Have a good night Jim

Hi Jim. Well done on sorting out the leaking issue you had! Sorry, I haven't read your previous post. What kanger do you have?

I had a little gurgling on my tank when I first set it up but seems to have settled after a few days use. I also bought the airflow controller the other day so that could have helped also.

If its evods your talking about the best way to stop the leaking and gurgling is to never let them run under half full. If you keep the juice topped up it will perform better with no problems. They are only little tanks but they punch well above there weight and i used them for ages as i found them so reliable and feel they are one of the best tanks for a new vaper as you can learn to rebuild them very easily.

I agree. The gurgle can be overcome by a little more wick and a lower ohm coil. Thats the problem with bottom coils, you have to get the balance right between a flooding wick and a dry wick.
