Lockdown V3

Anyone else just fed up now of the government breaking their own rules? It's been 10 months now and it just keeps happening again and again.

They need to learn to shut the hell up. Crazy fines by one police force , Hancock out yesterday backing them and a day later the prime minister is doing it himself!

Man it's a joke now. How on earth do you expect a population to take rules seriously when the people telling them are constantly breaking them or second guessing them within a few days each and every time?

Don't know about Scotland, Wales, and NI, but in England there has never been any mention of a 5 mile radius.
Particularly on a bike.

My wife is a gym member, as they are closed she goes for a long walk most days (work permitting) and regularly walks in excess of 5 miles at a time.
We live very close to a county border, so if she goes mile further on a walk, would it be classed as local if she crosses the border.......................

See my post above in reply to @Social Misfit.

What do you think Boris has done that is against the current lockdown rules.

Stay local they say, well Boris lives in London, so that is his "home town" Stratford is also in London, so he was in his locality.

For the last 30 years my mother in law, and many of my brother, and sister in laws have lived in a couple of villages about 10 miles from me, and obviously I have visited them regularly.
Eaten in restaurants there, gone for walks etc, and enjoyed the pubs around there, so as far as I am concerned that is part of my local area, despite the fact that it is in another county.

The rules state to stay local to your home.

Given that Matt Hancock publicly supported a fine issued to two women 5 miles away, boris then going 7 miles away for exercise is then contravening the rules of staying local.

7 miles away is not local, therefore breaking the rules that many people would and have been fined for already.

Otherwise its bending the rules in the sake of exercise, which if the prime minister is doing that, why can't everyone else? Making a joke out of the whole proceedings.

aye i see that in england the rules say to stay in your loca area.

of course, for these bastards one rule for them and another for us goes without saying. bj despises poor folk, this is well known and can be found in his published writings.

Just as well Boris wasnt on a tandem with a cup of coffee in his hand.

but he was apparently with his security personnel. this seems to me to be more than two people from more than two households, consorting in a public place away from all of their local areas. they should throw the book at him. :)

I live remotely I am 15 mins by car to the nearest town I am half a mile from the nearest house deep in the countryside but in all the lockdowns the amount of walkers that appear is amazing but this only happens in the lockdowns I don't see any walkers or bike riders when we are not in lockdown the trouble with all the rules is they are not concise

the two girls who got fined they have had their moment of fame if we look at the background they wanted to meet up for exercise so they got in there car drove 5-7 mins on the way they both stopped for a takeaway coffee etc ok in theory there is nothing wrong apart from the main thing "stay at home" both of the girls live in nice houses but both live further away than is permitted to meet up (one in another county) so in theory, it's too far to walk to each other's houses i.e a 7 min drive up a duel carriageway is further than a 7 min drive on a country lane so I'm splitting hairs but remember one thing they were all over the news on morning telly then they also had a photoshoot with the papers as well, holding a coffee (for real, really come on)

but what I'm saying is they got in there car stopped for a takeaway met up to go for a walk.....how many interactions with people is there and what if one car breaks down or they have an accident "staying at home" means........ stay at home

as for Boris, he's a twat what did you expect the 80k dead won't be sending him a Christmas card

for me it's simple I stop at home when I'm not at work I don't want to be at work I don't want to go there but I have too ever time I walk out or get the negative result the sense of relief is huge

I overheard a colleague on the phone listening to him talking to his brother, his brother was bored moaning over how hard it was sitting at home and jogging on his running machine...

"would you rather be here dying playing pass the covid parcel"

"of course not"

"well shut the fuck up moaning"

if we cant stop the spread next week or the week after a 1000 people dying a day will look like small figures

everyman and his dog are looking for a way to bend the rules, how bad do people want this to get 1500 hundred dead a day or perhaps 2000, maybe 2500 I would love to know the figure.....

when I went to do shopping in the first lockdown I saw people I work with, all of us wore masks and gloves with a knowing nod we did our shopping at breakneck speed whilst getting funny looks from other shoppers at the time none of the public wore masks at that point.

if I thought I could hole up here drop a couple of trees across the lane and give terry his favourite gas-powered semi-automatic I would
