It's a valid question ... personally I'd prefer a 'POTV meet' was organised by someone who had been on the forum longer than a couple of weeks, someone I had gotten to know slightly (if only through posting) and someone I trusted a little to sort shit out properly, especially if I'm travelling all the way to London.

It's a fair point if you ask me. Maybe it's because I (mis)spent my youth getting the train into London and hanging around at gigs with whoever I met, but it didn't even occur to me to ask.

You can fly from Exeter to London in an hour for £50! Not factoring return costs so he might have to go home with who ever he makes friends with.
