Look before you leap - lesson learned Kangertech Dripbox

So I have been trying to find a decent dual battery squonk mod to take my iJoy Squonk 24mm RDTA atty's, I have a Gbox that I simply don't like, an iJoy Capo 216 which feels cheap and dull as fook screen and spotted the Kangertech Dripbox, bought a used one only I didn't research it properly and much to my disappointment only takes 22mm RDA's.

Shame on me as I should have done a basic check, but tried to make the best of what I had and did a build on the Dripbox RDA - jesus it's the worst Atty I have ever tried! low coils, high airflow and nearly no flavour, tried to do a second build and raise the coils, same poor result's, did a 3rd build with the supplied prebuilt deck, equally as crap.

So I have ended up with an overkill setup with my Wasp Nano on it, to be fair it's only saving grace is I love the actual mod, feels great in the hand and looks great (even with the ickle Wasp sat on it).

Back to my quest of finding another dual battery regulated mod for my Squonk RDTA's.

What about the Basium, out next week apparently and takes up to 25mm rda's?

I'm on the fence about the Basium, I like it's bottle system but not sure I like the brick shape, waiting to see what users think when it comes out.

But the 'Keep It Simple Stupid' style, price of 60 quid without atty, included bottle is only 6ml and limited functions makes the Gbox appear better option.

I'm after something like a cross between the Gbox and the Capo 216 and the Dripbox which would be:
Brushed stainless steel solid rounded ergonomics like the Dripbox. (The Gbox would look a lot better without it's budget looking paint)
Bright screen (Dripox is the only bright screen out of the 3)
Separate Battery Door
20700 battery option (the Capo & Gbox are about the same size but the Capo takes larger batteries)
10ml juice bottle like the Capo.

Got a Pico Squeeze 2 on order, that would have been awesome if they made a dual battery version, it almost meets the above but it's only a single battery.

Another I have my eye on, not very ergonomic but I like it's slimmer design, almost pocket friendly.

I only used the included rda once, don't even know where it is now tbh.
I generally have the Drop on it, there's a teeny tiny overhang that doesn't bother me in the slightest. But it's the mod that counts mate, plenty of kits come with shite tanks or rda's, I wouldn't worry too much about it. The Hadaly is also small but a little bit bigger than the wasp and looks lovely and matchy as well as performing well [emoji106]

What about the mac on3, personally I wouldn't buy it but it is a duel cell regulated squonker with 240 watts of power...

I have a gbox too. It's a little bigger than the dripbox and doesn't feel so good in the hand. The buttons feel a bit cheap and I agree with you about the paint job on them. On the plus side, the radar is a pretty good rda for an included piece.

I have tried the Pulse 22mm which is good on it too, I forgot about the Hadaly as I have it for sale on the Pico Squeeze, if it doesn't sell I will whip it on the Dripbox thanks
