what is the nobbly bit at the top ? And also with a single 18650 battery how long will it last ? Currently I have a 3000mah and lasts for ever

It’s the battery cap. You can buy 3000mah batteries so it will last as well as your internal device.
Lots of decent recommendations here and you’d be fine with most. Pick something you like the look of as they will all do what you’re looking for

Ok I now realise I was being a complete noob, you wouldn’t guess I’ve been Vaping 3 years I thought that the 18650 was how powerful the battery was thinking it wouldn’t last as long I now realise that’s the size not the power capacity hahaha sorry for my noob moment

The batteries are all the same size, being 18650.

That translates to 18 (mm diameter) 65 (mm long) 0 (round).

20700 and 21700 are bigger, the name works the same way.

In all sizes though, you can get a variety of capacities and discharge rates - generally, the higher the capacity, the lower the power they can support.

The power isn't usually a concern with mtl as this usually has low power requirements anyway.

@Missvapex That is where the battery goes ... its the battery cap .. a 3000mah 18650 battery will fix the Swag 2
