So, I'm dedicated to streamlining my vaping experience as much as possible. I am happy that I have reached a place presently where I only spend on vaping half of what I spent on smoking a month. I have started to rebuild my Kanger heads and whilst it hasn't been awesome so far, I am confident I will get better in time and further reduce my monthly spend on kit.

Now, I'm seriously thinking about starting mixing my own juice, I hear that it can be vastly cheaper in the long run, though I confess I don't know by how much.

What I need to know is this:

1) What is the absolute minimum I need to spend to have a workable mixing kit and able to start producing my own juices?
2) Can I get flavourings that are 100% natural and organic as I have no interest in anything artificial?
3) Once I start producing my own juices, how much around about would I actually be saving?

I realise that this is quite a big topic and that there is a lot of info on the forum but I wanted to condense the answers into one forum post that also reflected today's pricing.

All help massively appreciated.

DIY saves loads of money. My most expensive mixes cost about 70p for 10ml. I don't know anywhere that does organic natural flavours though. I'm sure someone worked out they could pick up a basic starter set up fo about £21 using leisureliquids :) I hope that helps in some way.

we'd need to know what nic level you vape at to work that out properly

my menthol mix at 18mg makes around 160ml for £14 and thats not shopping round to find best deals as its early days for me too :)

Right maths is not my favourite subject so stick with me! He sells 52mg Nic in 50ml bottles for £8.99 which is enough for 140ml of eliquid at 18mg or 200ml at 12mg. Vg can be bought at boots for £1.29 for 200ml. Then you just need some dionised water which is around £1. A bottle of flavour at 20% (which is quite high for most flavours, so at its most expensive) will make 100ml. So for around £18 you could make between 140-200ml of liquid. You would also need a couple of syringes but they are about 25-30p each. If someone wants to double check my maths though :)

all bought from leisure liquids

£8.99 50ml nic base 52mg
£1.99 x2 pg dilute
£1.99 x2 vg dilute
£2.95 x3 concentrate (strawberry for instance)

this diluted to 12mg mixed 50/50 pg/vg will make roughly 217 ml of finished juice at 15% flavour with about 25 ml dilute of each pg/vg leftover

so 217ml for about £26....this is of course without the bottles you may need and syringes etc

of course this all revolves around my maths being right ;)

When I said organic I meant not artificial. I am hoping to make 50/50 12mg juices.

Sorry jester i think we posted at the same time, but i still get your point and well presented.

That's the tricky bit, I don't know anyone that supplies DIY natural flavours. There are natural ready mixed though so unless they make their own flavouring they must be getting it from somewhere :)
