Do you think there would be value in just picking one of these up (Coil master DIY kit V3) and learning from the off?

Would recommend one of these highly, i use mine every day still. All the tools seperate cost a fair bit more unless you get chinese cheapo things. Mine has lasted well, coiling jig is great to start out with and you should always use an ohm meter.
