it’s a bit bombastic for me.
I pretty much hate the way all papers report things.
it’s a bit bombastic for me.
At the end of the day though surely the percentage of dead people is more important.
Not really.... you can't bring people back from the dead can you? They are gone and it's terrible.... but what is important now is getting people vaccinated, getting the infection, hospitalization and death rates down and getting out of lock down.
I've lost someone and nothing is going to bring them back, I just don't want more people to join them .......... even if they are French.
it’s a bit bombastic for me.
I get you.
The French have had more deaths per million than the UK for about the last four days.
The much greater death rate in the UK every day from mid Dec till then is In the past.
We are doing the vaccines better.
So UK for the win.
With these threads that @Mitz likes posting to show how bad Eu countries are handling covid I always go here https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus#our-data-sources Put the Uk and the crappy Eu countries on the Data Explorer then compare the death rates per million people to see just how bad they are handling things compared to us..
The answer is always the same, They are not as crap as us. France is not a huge amount less crap than us and the Germans are way less crap than us.
