What's new

In talking down AZ's success, the EU has sacrificed lives for the integrity of the European Project

This thread to me seems more about a pro-brexit stance
Rather than about the vaccine :hmm:

I've never agreed with mandatory helmets. It would be Ok if it stopped there but it doesn't, it's 'approved' helmets, 'approved' visors and over the years it's been the continual threat of 'EU approved' clothing, jackets, boots, gloves etc. If I want to pop to the shop or go for a little cruise around in the summer without being fully kitted up that's a risk I'll choose to take.
It's creeping into horse riding as well. Now under 14s have to wear a hard hat on the road, which is fair enough I guess, but pressure is increasing to extend it and it's become an 'insurance' issue.

I frequently used to ride with no hat, no saddle and no bridle, just a halter. :17:
