Magnetic firing switch?

There are dangers associated with Magnetis switches - Beware of cheap body jewellery and magnetic switches, some cheaper grades of stainless are magnetic and it's not going to be fun to drop yout mod in a pocket and find your prince albert suddenly stuck to your mod, or a nipple peircing hanging of the end of your nemesis while vaping in the pub...:lol1:

Tempted to try and see what happens, but i dont fancy having to prize my belly or tongue away from the nemi...........on the bus :rotflmao:

The magnets in the Ba Gua are really stiff. It's my first mod with a magnetic switch and I'm not sure whether I prefer good old springs for bottom firing mods.

Maybe I've just got extremely weak fingers?

i have a smok magnito and love it really smooth to push and vape would highly recommend

My Kylin has a plain old boring metal spring that required Jeff Capes to activate when I got it.I decided to have a tinker,so removed it totally & first I heated it on the gas cooker until it was glowing brighter than my 0.2 ohm coils before trying it again. The impromptu session on the gas cooker worked and it is much easier to activate, but still strong enough to support a Russian 91% with a full tank.

Maybe its because its still grindy. But thats the pin and not tye magnets. May need to do a bit of filing to make it smoother

Mine is the same, stiff and a bit crunchy, I noticed the other day I've started to develop sore spots on the insides of my little fingers where I fire it. I still love it though, despite it's horrible switch :D in fact it's kind of one of the reasons I love it! In fact the switch on the Ba Gua is more stiff and crunchy than the switch on my 4nine.

@man_d Have you added a spacer to your 4nine switch? Apparently it's supposed to make a massive difference to shorten the throw.

In case you haven't got a link for the spacers, you can pick them up quite well priced from: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Spider-Mag...21236017&_sid=971925597&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322

8x0.5 is supposedly what people are using. Other folk have the 8x1.0 spacers which reduces the throw even more. I'd love to tell you that I own a 4nine but sadly I don't. I'll put it on my Xmas list and get it right before the 5ten is released.

Apologies if this is already known!
