Hi everyone. I am up to 15 mechs in the collection now, from mods like the AV Able, Wismec Noisy cricket original and V2 with the PWM and ability to choose between series and parallel by simply flipping the bottom connection over, a couple of SMPL's, the SCNRDRL, the Broadside, Wotofo Phantom, and most recently the COV Kindred V2 in both Stainless steel and copper.

Out of all of them, I am down to two that I actually enjoy using the most, and that would be the Broadside for 24MM RDA's, and then the COV Kindred V2 for 22MM.

I like the Broadside due to it's innovative design with the delrin lining inside the mod, which is there in case you miss a tear in your battery wrap, and also the clutch firing mechanism, which when setup correctly just works really well no matter where you press the button.
It also uses a standard 510 which I prefer.
It's a Brass mod, so needs some polishing now and then but it comes up like new.
It looks fantastic with a nice matching 24MM RDA, I am using the Lost art edition of the Goon with it- I have the gold style finished one and it matches the brass really well.

Then most recently I got the SS and Copper COV Kindred V2 mods- a fellow ape sent me a link to somewhere selling the Kindred V2 for just £4.99- an authentic mech for under a fiver? I had to try it, as I had nothing to really lose at that price point.

I love the fact it has a standard 510 connection, I prefer these than direct to battery/faux hybrid mods where the positive pin of your RDA needs to stick out enough to contact the positive of the battery to be safe, a magnetic firing switch that is adjustable for how much throw you like in the button which is silver plated copper at the contact, and dual adjustments at the 510 end- a reverse threaded silver plated copper contact to adjust for battery rattle, and above this another adjustable contact for the RDA, to adjust for how long the threading is.

Another thing I really like about the SS version is that the mod is actually made of copper internally, and then just finished in stainless steel, so you get the conductivity of copper with all the threads and the body of the mod being made from copper, but with the sturdiness of stainless steel for the finish.

So out of all the money I have spent on mechs, my favourites are a 1:1 clone of the Broadside which I believe was around £20 at the time if memory serves me correctly, and also a mod that costs you under a fiver right now brand new and authentic.

So about £25 together vs mods that cost a fair bit more just for the mod, goes to show something doesn't have to be super expensive to be good.

If you have any favourite mechs, what are they, and what are your reasons for them being your favourites? I would like to hear what other people like using and why.

Nowt wrong with the full copper Keen, got it for £15 on VEX. Has unscrewable beauty rings for different size Atomizers 30mm/28mm/25mm, switch is good and it hits hard, the shape means you can hold it in multiple ways comfortably,I dont clean the body just the threads/contacts.
Fitted with Pandemic 28mm, coils are 18 cores with 32g frames with 38g outer Ni80 0.08ohm, molicel P50B battery hits hard.

Wait that is copper? I thought the outside was made of wood, thats how cool the uncleaned copper looks!

I have to ask, does it have a standard 510 connector as I prefer these, although if it is hybrid I would still give it a go.

I do have to say those coils look beautiful! Not something I would likely use, but good to know you are safe with a good battery even building that low.

It's a hybrid 510 most tubes after a certian point are there also self adjusting for battery rattle with constant contact switchs.

It's made by the people that made the heavy hitter, I think the most popular one they make is the Dreamer 1.5 has lots a fans for a budget cost mech.

I really like the third one in on the first row, the one that is smooth with an engraving towards the bottom right?
Is it hybrid or a standard 510 connection?
That's a Purge v3, formerly known as the truck, it's an authentic I picked up from here a few years ago, it's a hybrid 20700.

My faves are Purge v3 , Purge Fallout , Heavy Hitters , Cluch single 21700 box mod.
A couple more I forgot about are Deathwish Modz Bogan Edition and a One Top Pharaoh ( both very heavy lumps )
