Thinking of giving mixing a try and am a fan of 100% VG juices.

What I want to know is how do mixers get good flavour in high VG
mixes. I bought a 100% VG vanilla custard the other day and it
tastes amazing but how?

Is there some secret ingredient?

yea...the secret ingredient is usually......pg

almost all flavours are pg based...
so it was probably 85/15 -80/20
Probably had distilled water as well...dw+vg =ag

I'd be wary of anyone claiming 100% vg juice...cos it doesnt exist.

there are a few concentrates coming out now that are vg based so it is possible but more likely to have alittle water to help with thinning down tho

I think the effect of PG on flavour is overrated. There are so many other variables and even the most experienced vaper is effectively a novice and still learning.

Its effect on wicking is far more significant than on flavour.

Be brave and experiment, be prepared to chuck a few mixes down the toilet and you'll soon find something you like.

Well I have found some flavour concentrates and asked
the seller what the base was and as pointed out above
they are PG based.

I shall give them a go and see what happens.

justvape 24/7 have vg flavour concentrates

Pulled the trigger on a tutti frutti flavour.

The seller I bought from also has flavours which
are pg/alcohol based and straight alcohol based.
Is it ok to use alcohol based, does vaping alcohol
based flavours affect blood alcohol levels?

The amount of alcohol involved is very small, and by the time the alcohol has been vapourised on your coil there is nothing left to get into your bloodstream. Alcohol based flavours aren't as common as PG based, but they are fine to vape. Oil is the thing to avoid at all costs.

Perhaps someone confirm or correct me on this, but I made a 50/50 fruit mix for a friend and he complained that the PG was high, I tried it on my dripper and found no big TH and lots of cloud, then I turned down the wattage and by 2 watts and got a massive TH, I'm thinking PG vaporises at lower temp and I done got it to vape the PG but not the VG?

Blurted out from iPhone using Planet of the Vapes

Well I have made up some Tutti Fruity using 9ml VG and 1ml of
flavour gave it a good shake and seems ok.

It's zero nic as I am just having a play at the moment but may stay
zero nic as I intended on cutting down to zero anyway.
