Mixing scales. Can you recommend any.

@kermitthefog That may have been one I looked at but wasn't sure because it wasn't a bad price :D
Would I need to get a calibration weight ?
I use these ones, which look similar to kermit's with a brighter screen colour. I mention it only because OurWeigh are having a bit of a sale. Not sure how the two will compare price-wise after postage but thought you might like to take a look.
Yesterday I ordered a 500g calibration weight from them on a whim but having looked into them a bit I see that there are different grades of them as far as tolerances go, so it may well be a waste of money. Anyway, the scales have been functioning perfectly for months and I can recommend them.

Thank you @Mr Numpty I'll take a look

Oh, and having looked at how the calibration feature works on the ones I linked to, it asks you to place a 500g weight on them so you wouldn't be able to use a coin or whatever. Perhaps you can with @kermitthefog's ones, I don't know. Not that I think they really need calibration at all. They just seem to work.

These two scales look like the best option after the LB501 scales which are too costly here in the UK :(

Don't forget that the specific gravity of VG is 1.26 ( so 1ml volume is 1.26g of mass)

The readability ( decimal places on your screen) is totally different to reproducibility and linearity - for example I have a £20 amazon set I use at home in the kitchen, reads 2 dp max 3kg, when I compare that side by side with the Kern precision balance I use for mixing it is about 120g out over 2kg

Even if you only have a scale with 1dp readout, that's fine if the actual accuracy is 1dp. 0.1g on a scale is more accurate than using glassware unless you titrate, as the VG and PG residue left behind will be far more than 0.1g [emoji4]

The scales I'm getting read to 2 dp . ie 0.01 gram. I'll give it a go. If the taste comes out different from using syringes I can always go back to them. :D
