What's new

mixing your own

I thought I was going to cause a right disaster before I tried mixing....but it`s very easy once you`ve got it all straight in your own mind. (I couldn`t even remember all the abbreviations at first)

A good e-liquid calculator can certainly help as well, I wouldn`t do without one !

Mix small test batches up at first to find your own preferences and alter to suit as you make more up, once that`s done...you`re off ! :)

I`ve tried a few of the online ones and they didn`t all do what I needed, or didn`t make sense to me....but have been using the one that was made for TW for a long time
(it was removed from the site ages ago but I had a copy)
it`s Java based so I had to get a Portable version of Java just to use it...normally I wouldn`t let java on this PC, but needs must when the devil drives...

there`s another one though by Breaktru which is very good....which is .NET based, which can be found here:

http://www.ejuice.breaktru.com/

I prefer the offline ones as I don`t want to have to rely on the internet just to use a juice calc...one day the internet will be down and I`ll want to mix and that equals trouble ;)

There`s quite a few online ones round and about, but I haven`t checked them out in ages.

Couldn`t tell you about the ones for phones etc, but they do exist.

To start with, if you are looking for flavours and I see you have looked at 4Drops, I'd suggest you stick to the Inawera and Tino D Milano ranges - they are both good value and pretty ready to go - no need for Ethyl Maltol, sweetener, MTS etc etc. The Wera Garden range is more concentrated (to blow your head off levels) but often needs lots of faffing around to get right. I have yet to taste a Tino D Milano flavour that has not been in 'best of breed' class.

If anyone needs a mixing calculator and has Microsoft Excel, I have developed several, including an easy to use recipe book spreadsheet. PM me your email addy and I'll send you a copy.

I mix 50 / 50 for a mild throat hit and good vapour, flavour suffers a bit but l'm new to this and have been told taste buds will take a while to recover from tobacco so l'm not worried :)

Bryan said the Inawera brand of flavour concentrates is a good choice ;)

I agree....have tried several.
