What's new

Mod, Semi mod etc ?

It is not. But the term comes from the origins with modified devices. i think that is easy to understand.
Perhaps not though if I am having to expand on my original post.

Yeah it is... I just don't understand how we got from there to here. :D

To go through everything in message form might take weeks!
Do you have any device at the moment?
Or one you've looked at?

There's so many mods, tanks, battery types, juice, coils, cotton's, MTL DTL style, etc...
Could take a while.

Currently have a T18ii, Nautilus GT Kit, Mixx with mini GT tank and a VooPoo Drag S but don't like this one. As you can see I've just started with buying ready to go kits with pre built coils.

Are the mod and semi mods just meant for home built coils as you can't seem to adjust the voltage on some or can you use for example a Nautilus GT tank on one ?

Are mods and semi mods more for DTL rather than MTL ?

Maybe @SAW has seen "semi mech mod, MOSFET tube type mod?

I'm not going there again... I don't think there is such a thing as 'semi-mech' it's either mechanical or it isn't.

That's the problem these days, China just makes shit up all the time to make it sound cool or something. "Pro FOCS flavour testing technology from Uwell" for example. :D

yeah, on anything that doesn't have variable power (from 'bypass' mode to a mechanical tube) you have to use ohm's law to calculate the resistance needed for the power you want to obtain.

Are you talking about mechanical mods? ones that don't have screens/circuitry etc?

i searched google images for “semi mod” and it brought up this. so a semi mod is a fush.

Yes I've seen a few that have just a fire button nothing else.

So what's a semi mod ?
