I'll tell you how far I'm drifting out of touch, I was originally gonna ask where the squaw went and double-checked the spelling on a search-engine only to be advised it's considered a racial slur, hence the term I used, which doesn't exactly trip off the tongue... so apologies to anyone offended by the appearance of the bad word, accept I'm a lingual dinosaur!!

really? I didn't know that either ...... anyway she's not a squaw, she's an Asian topless model doing a bit of blatant cultural appropriation, which is probably worse.

Yup it's true... the only crumb of comfort I can offer to the mock offended or offended, I'm closer to the departure gate than the arrivals desk so it won't go on indefinitely, LOL. I wonder if this is how the previous generation to me felt, trying to keep abreast of cultural changes and adjustment of societal norms.

Maybe but I think it was almost the opposite.... it was the oldies that were offended by everything. Music, The Word, The Young Ones, youth language in general, fashion, hairstyles ... and on and on. Now you have a bunch of young people that act like Mary Whitehouse is their messiah.

I must admit I don't like it when people change them, you get used to it don't you? There's a couple of peeps here who have changed them and I almost forget who they are/were. It's quite odd really.
