Evening fellow apes!

I have a few MTL tanks on the way, kayfun clone, hurricane clone & the UTA.

Just wondering what Ohms i should be going for in TC on these tanks?

The wires i have to hand are Nife30/28g, Ni200/28g & Ti/26g

Really liking the niffy stuff as duals in my sub ohm tanks but have no idea how i work with it in a single coil mtl tank.

Any advice appreciated i will have a little play around on steam engine etc and some test builds when they arrive, just want to know what the experts think is a good stable TC build for these type of tanks.

Cheers guys

Same as anything TC - Keep it above 0.1 Ohms...

After i posted i thought its going to be something so simple lol.

I was thinking that as you build higher ohms for mtl with kanthal +1.2-1.8ohms for eg; maybe you have to go higher also with TC wires in a mtl atty.

Thanks @Tubbyengineer :2thumbsup:

Nah, in fact it's probably easier to stay a bit low - space in the MTL Tanks can be a bit restricted - Ni200 can be awkward in them but NiFe30 and Titanium work OK

I use 8-9 wraps of 28g Ni200 on 2.5mm ID, spaced in my Hurricane. Comes out 0.16 and vapes very nice.

7 or 8 wraps of Nife30 28 awg comes out around 0.23-0.25 ohms on 3 mm ID, works great in all my MTL tanks.
