MVP2 Button bits n pieces

Hi all,

Looks like I've lost a bit of the button - the bit that makes the contact when the rubber is pressed down on it...



So I thought - if I can get my hands on a new one, rip it apart and replace the missing bit it just might work.

Trouble is I can't find them online - search brings up all the wrong switches.

Does anyone know what they are called? And where to get them?

Or maybe i could bodge the missing bit (tho don't know what it looks like!)

something like this from maplins should have the part a concave metal disk. but not sure it will be the right size but it's worth a try.

could well be that something out an old xbox/playstation controller may work..?
something thats designed to take mountains of abuse and pressed trillions of times

i'm sure you could fashion something with a small piece of stainless sheet,a jigsaw and a punch

If rob cant help i have a broken ego (think the battery gave up) switch still presses.
