So, my good old Argento has finally succumbed to the final death, nothing will revive it. I know it isn't the best or most expensive bit of kit, but after my egos, it was my first "Mod" and so has sentimental value. I was wondering if anyone here has had one apart. I'd like to rebuild it from the inside as it were, find out what killed it (I'm guessing the notoriously dodgy button) and get it running again, and maybe even try to fit my new kick when it comes. I am fairly confident that once I am inside it, I can make it work again, I just need that "in". Cheers in advance for any tips from anyone.

Is it the argento dark chrome aka UDT l

Nope, it's the original Argento from Britvapes....apologies for the old pic, it's the second from the right

Get an ego cone (the screw on type) and screw it on
Wiggle that top section and pull/rock
Eventually it will come off

There is a plastic disk with 2 holes in
Poke a pair of needle nosed pliers in there and unscrew

It will all come apart

I have revived mine and I suspect it will now outlive me regardless of the abuse I may throw at it

renewed the wires with chunky stuff
replaced the rubber insulator in the 510 with a hard delrin transistor insulator
replaced the switch with a microswitch that's man enough for several amps
I also have the silver bullet hot spring in the base

Its a bit like triggers broom, looks like total crap, but hits as hard as any of my mech devices (the important bit for me)

Regards
Rob
