What's new

Nautilus 2 / Zlide / Zenith question...

I wouldn't go that far... It's looks a bit naff, you can't say anything is 'smooth as butter' with it, the top spins around for some unknown reason and it feels kinda cheap.... it's a decent tank but lets not get carried away. :D
...well yeah... maybe "masterpiece" its too much. But hey, still, is it one of the best ATM or not? Value for money is must: 2 drips, 2 types of glasses... etc, all included. And a comfortable refill sys, you dont really need more than that.

Ahhh no worries @OzoreXS ... even though I still don't fully understand what you mean I now know it wasn't a quirky common vape three letter abbreviation I should know

haha, no I agree.. it's a good tank. :)

To be fair most (if not all) the things I don't like (that red dot is another thing) are either just 'looks' or just thinking something could have been done a little better. .... on flavour and vape quality alone, and coil life (so far) it's up there with the best.

So... quick update for anyone who's interested.

The Zelos mod has stayed so far, the Nautilus 2 tank has been thrown out of the window. It's crap. Utter rubbish.

Today I took delivery of an Innokin Kroma R which comes with a Zlide tank. Now I'm not getting too excited here as it's early days... but I've vaped all day without any leaks. Much nicer vape too than the Zelos / naughtilus 2.

Thanks to all on this thread... for the moment it's put me back on to the vaping track... and for someone who smoked 40 cigs a day at £9.30 a pack... so basically £18.60 ! I hope this is life changing.

Currently at nearly 10pm... I've smoked 15 cigarettes in total... but knowing me I'll be up until 3 am. If I smoke 20 in total that is a massive win for me at this stage.

Glad you've made a breakthrough. Keep us updated and just shout if you need more help.

So... so far things are good. The only thing holding me up has been batteries. I popped a new one into the Kroma R and it was fully 'charged' in less than 20 mins... I didn't believe it so left it a little and then the charge screen went blank.

I'm on my second charge of the day. 345 puffs since I started using it in total and had to do 1 refill. I'm a heavy smoker... but the battery life seems low...

Dare I say it the Zelos battery seems to survive much longer.... orrrrr I have a rubbish battery. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

All in all though... I love this device compared to what I had before.

Edit: sorry should have said... running 0.8 Ohm coil on 15w

Second edit... when I stuck it on charge it was still showing yellow on the power bar.... but it looked like it was close to slipping into the red.. ( that's me guessing... I've never seen it in the red )

What battery do you have in the Kroma?

You can't really tell from a 'power bar' that yellow might still be 50% charge, which means you are only using half of the capacity.

I get around 500 puffs as a very rough average.

I'm not sure... I think it's Samsung... or was supposedly to be. It's unbranded ( by which I mean it doesn't say Samsung on it anywhere ) which worries me. I bought it 2 years ago and it's sat on the side unused until now. I don't have an external charger so just using the USB port at the mo.

It could just be a rubbish cheap battery... I'm charging it maybe 3 - 4 times a day.

I'm guesssing ( obviously ) a new battery could be advisable.... and I've seen posts saying that external battery chargers are advisable as well ? I'm happy to invest as in the long term it saves me money... so far in the short term I've had this I estimate I've saved £12-£15 on cigarettes which is probably a conservative guess. That's a great thing... plus I don't feel quite so congested in my lungs.

These days I wouldn't like to take it out on its own for fear of battery failure... and after my disaster with the zelos I want to make sure it doesn't leak... which using at home I'm pleased to say still hasn't.

Let me know your thoughts... always open to suggestions.... happy with my purchase so far and is doing it's job... it's battery longevity that's the concern.

Still running 0.8 ohm / 15 watts. I've just started a 2nd bottle of juice. 925 puffs on the counter since I started using it from the day or purchase. Charged maybe.... god I dunno 8 times? The charge from yellow to full green takes less than half an hour which seems strange. Only hit the red bar once and instantly started charging from yellow. Again... it charged in less than 30 mins and switched the charge screen off itself.

@OzoreXS your suggestion on the Sony battery .. have you used one in a Kroma R?

Ok, I'll try and keep this brief. :)

yeah, you shouldn't be needing to charge it that much, that's crazy.

Yeah, get a new battery or two (Sony VC6, or Samsung 30Q) either 18650.uk or Fogstar

In my opinion it's fine to charge batteries in single cell mods, Innokin are big on safety too, so I think that's fine.... no need to worry about it right now.
