Nemesis experiment (well used look)

I decided to mess with another Nemi over the past couple of days. I fancied trying to get a well used and vintage(ish) look to her and am loving the results! The pictures don't actually do this justice but I think I've just found my favourite mod so far.

I mixed 2 Nemis together for this. 1 Hcigar SS (tubes) and 1 brass FT mod (top cap and firing button) with added magnets and copper pins (this is firing better than either of the 2 mods as standard).

Anyway, 1st I found the roughest sandpaper I could find and attached to an orbital sander to rough it up as much as possible. After, I found 1200 wet and dry to sand top to bottom over the rough tubes. Finally I started torching the tubes to an uneven finish leaving a good result (imo) and the look that was wanted. Added the brass parts and now I'm as happy as a pig in shit!

Forgot to mention to use silvo polish before torching to help with a matte effect.

Had umpteen of them. Got bored of having the same as everyone else. I even have that dripper too. If I own a clone or two now, I try to modify them to at least look different. I understand that everyone else has their own preference but like I said. The pictures don't do it justice. It looks a lot different in person and wish I had a better camera to show the details.

I like the torching effect I'm just not mad on the matt finish.

It's just regulated, that's all. Was just wondering cos I can never use the kick ring because my batteries are too small for it.
