I think the mistake I made was getting you to make my case for my smallest setup, rather than one of my larger mods. A great case nonetheless, just Pico specific. Much better quality than the FT one I use for different mods, which I suspect won't last very long with heavier gear in it. I'll join the queue when you start taking orders mate

finishing touches

when i was a kid the shopkeepers well some of them anyway (older gents) would wrap and tie the purchases up in brown paper and string we are not talking about cans of beans, I mean items that were handcrafted or expensive, they took pride in that it was part of the service. In this disposable world, what do we do we have it in a plastic bag made from oil that we are running out of to then throw it away

so all the stuff i sell on commission go out in a rope tie bag, with a bottle of leather wax with either my 'makers' mark attached or stamped on the item i try to the best of my abilities make things to last longer than myself...

tomorrow I have a day off as well as cutting wood for my own fires and doing jobs around the house I will be doing a new sleeve case with a red stitching to give away for xmas.

so on this wonderful day to breath the clean air of freedom from work...

i cut wood for the fires ho hum

one of the best tools i bought, clamp the saw in and lift the saw to cut (the safety guard kinder fell off a day after i bought it) it will cut up to 10-inch logs.

on the dvd tonight whilst sewing is Jason Bourne (with matt of course)

ok i have cut a piece of nappa to meet in the middle of the 23mm tube sewed top and bottom on the singer

so what i have done is a cross stitch in red along the holes i punched on both sides

from the front, it looks good but the leather is thin, its a tricky case to make so, i need fellow apes input...

so i will give the three sleeves away to THREE people.

not cost to the ape who gets the sleeve but I need a review of each ape, I need these to be honest but I must ask the ape to review that's the only condition the ape will pay no money, not even postage.

case one a square case that will fit a cube 2 or a mod that is 104mm high x60mm wide x 25mm thick

case two a tube mech mod case in all black 23mm wide 95mm long tube

case three a tube mech mod case with red stitching 23mm wide 95mm long tube

the tube mods are tight fitting and designed with a bottom button in mind

on my travels I popped into a gentleman outfitters, the nice Scottish gent was closing down, I asked him why

"I cannee give the stuff away X***X**X people XXXX****XXX"

well it seems no one wants free stuff

perhaps, people didn't realize Nappa leather is goat and potv members are goat lovers?

Perhaps the stitching and design is really that shite

Perhaps people are too embarrassed to not give me money (feel free I have a wife, dog and hungry bank manager to feed)

anyhow not to be down hearted. I am closing this thread and will go "into the east", the sleeves I will donate to 2017 POTV raffle
