New RDA Recommendation?

Velocity rocks, easy to build on, deep wells lots of choice in setup.. mutation x v4 also good but leaks s lot as coils directly over air intakes.

What are the clouds like? You tried a quad build on it? Where can I get a clone from other than fasttech, any links?

Have built quad claptons on it before. Not a massive deck but big enough.

The Hastur is a great bit of kit.... The post screws are really naff, but those guys at vapourdepot included a free bag of British screws which work a treat....

I've gone off the Hastur after I seen one review on it about it leaking all inside and the screws weren't great as you mentioned.

I'm looking into the velocity. How much juice does that hold? Its got a deep well so just wondering. Is there anything else better?


Sorry for all the questions, I am just looking to go all out on a good RDA. What does everyone else use on here or are looking to get?

Just to update everyone, I ended up going for the Velocity Clone. Got it today and first thing I did was clean it as I can smell machine oil on it, I just used warm water and soaked in some soap then rinse and air dry. Can still smell a lil bit of machine oil but I'm unsure of how to properly remove it.

I then went onto building my first quad coil build, took me a couple attempts as I didn't have many wraps so resistance ended up low. Funnily enough with all the coils on its still reading at 0.2ohm. Ever since I got this 25AWG A1 Kanthal, every dual build and now even quad build are turning out to read at 0.2ohm which is strange.

Anyhow, I am loving this thing, its a beast! With the quad build it needs a lot of power, I am vaping it at around between 50-70W, I keep changing through the settings. Not found my sweet spot yet lol

Flavour and clouds are amazing on this!

Thank you to the members on here for getting me into RDA's, I am loving this! Much better than the expensive sub-ohm tanks! Although I need to get used to the coil building. Next on my list is to try out the dragon coil build

I have the Velocity Mini clone and its fab with 0.5ohm parallel single coil @30w for flavour! Got a full size one on the way to test.

Edit, small tip. Put a vape band over the chuff tip once you get an air setting your happy with and it will hold it in place.

Just wondering

Do these recommendations still stand? (The vape world seeming to be evolving week after week) and would these be alright in my subbox/k box mini? Going to be ordering the kit to make my own juice and after a dripper to test the results on, that way if they are horrible I won't risk tainting my only tank or destroying a coil.

All solid recommendations the velocity and mutation x 4 give good airlift options. If it's just taste you're after then a good option is the nixon Rda from ehpro it's genuine and bottom airflow so gives great flavour, 4 post deck, can be had for as little as a 12 squids. If you're more after clouds then the ehpro edrip t1 is another option which can still out out decent flavour! Good luck

I can testify to the Velocity love. I got a clone that arrived a few days ago and it is superb on every level. I love it. Tempted to get a genuine one when they make the next batch. Totally recommended!
