Hello all. Im very new to this but am really tired of the roll ups I decided to look into the world of e-cigs. I thought this was all confined to the ones in the back of the daily papers and the crappy ones for £20 at petrol stations but wow........ boy was I naïve!!!!! I decided to do a little research and found you guys and this place. Anyway about 30 mins after finding this forum I decided to buy a ego-t from vapourbreak with some juices and extra atomisers. Then the next day return and order some extra batteries and extra juice, quite addictive isn't it????? haha I have also been looking at mixing my own juices as quitting the roll ups is also a cost thing so the cheaper the better (not that it seems to be turning out that way thus far) Now I can source the vg/pg liquid on amazon for what looks like a good price, around £4.50 for 1000ml, nicotine liquid from bargain vapours but the flavour concentrates seem pricey for only 10ml so I have also read that food flavour concentrates as long as they are water based are also good. Has anyone used these and give any advice on them? as although I have read they are weaker I can source them for 70p for 28.5ml

welcome to a whole new world. And I see shinyitus has set in already. With regards to the " food flavour concentrates as long as they are water based". I'd say no (they'll shoot me down if i'm wrong). I think most have other things in them that are not to good. There is a mixology section in the forum that should help. http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php/67-Mixology try in here for more info.

:welcome1: to POTV

Some food flavourings are OK but you will find the concentrates that vapers talk about are tried and tested :D

And are created specifically with vapers in mind, some 10ml bottles can give between 50ml (20% mix) and 200ml (5% mix) ;)

Also food concentrates are alot weaker so it won't work out any cheaper. If budget is the main concern I'd go with inawera flavours as they are highly concentrated. Some I them only need 3-5% so that works out at 0.3 to 0.5 ml per 10ml of eliquid and they are good quality flavours too.

Thank you for your welcomes and the information. From what ive read so far the set up costs can be relatively high but once I stop being a kid in a sweet shop the costs should settle down, 3 words....... read, read, read hahaha

I am the same as you, since i started i cant stop buying vape things, not a week goes by that i don't buy a sample pack of liquid, ive also got a back up vv on order just incase. Im hoping my spending will calm down like you said but i just cant see it at the moment lol :)

Welcome and same here! Recently found vaping and can't stop reading and buying!
A week now and already got my eye on a 3rd kit. Not tried mixing my own yet but something I will look into once my newbie kid-in-a-sweet-shop syndrome has settled down a tad.

Welcome! Same goes for me! On a fairly tight budget but it seems all my "pocket money" is earmarked for adding to my vaping gear. I am also always reading and watching things and finding it is increasingly becoming a really interesting hobby,if that's the right term. Lots of friendly advice is out there on forums like this and although things might calm down a bit for me I am keen to keep advancing and learning.Always bear in mind any costs easily repay themselves against the cost of the "stinkies"

Hi and welcome, same here but im 4 months down the line and i still cant stop buying everything in site. I am completely addicted to it, keep thinking it will calm down but it aint yet..!!
