New to Dripping

Hi Guys

So just got myself a Helios RDA and thought I'd try my hand at dripping

I've got great flavour but crap vapour, dual coil 8 wraps .28 at 1ohm with cotton in coil and under coil

What am I doing wrong?

got a pic of the setup? i just got mine too and had same prob but my wick was very short and not touching the bottom...i extended it and wrapped it all around the dripper...lots more vapour im just having issues with the coil readings lol and sometimes it doesnt produce much at all and dries out after a few puffs

Make sure that the air hole is lined up properly with the coil. And make sure that your coil sits so that the air hole can be aligned properly.

mines doing the same thing again lol, loads of flavour and throat hit but no vapour, got air hole in the centre of the coil, fixed the issue with the coil giving diff readings but no vapour same as you...if i fix it il let you know...was working fine when i extended the wick but stopped again

if i take off cap and move it it seems to work better but sometimes it wont fire at all, try keep moving the cap around bud it seems to be working just find that good spot on it lol

You must be doing something wrong, my helios vapes like a steam train. The only issue i have with it is fine adjusting the air hole when i want a tighter draw... Actually even then it's no hassle really.

cant see what is wrong though, coil looks good, same juice i always use, tried all different watts, it was working a bit but not loads of vapour, put my old standard evod atty back on and way more vapour lol..il grab a photo of the igo-l setup and see what you think bud all looks ok to me though, the flavour is mega strong as is throat hit just no vapour

Ok well my coils are tidy. Lined up with the airhole. A steady 1 ohm dual coil. Glows bright with no wick and fires really quick. Soon as I put a wick in it is poor

Make sure your cotton is loose, and also, don't put any under it! That's cooling it too much

Ahhhhhhh I think you nailed it! I had cotton inside and sitting on cotton!

Muct have got confused when I watched a Rip trippers video where he does not out any cotton inside just sits it on a bed of cotton.

I'll rebuild and let you know

Yeah that did it, still not the steam train I was hoping for, but then again it is a clone
