New to Dripping

vaporsizer I think mine is the version 1 helios it has 1 air hole and crappy grub screws. I got it to try dripping before I commit to getting the patriot rda. Kight have to drill out another hole. I ieep them closento the posts to reduce hot legs, but I'll try your method and see what happens
VeeDubZ I reckon it is airflow. I do tend to pack the cotton abound the coil

So another question. . . . .

Here is my coil I'm running now


Plenty of space around/under and pretty decent wicking, I've just made some double twisted 28g Kanthal so 4 strands of Kanthal but I'm liking how this coil is performing for now so I might just save it and re-coil it in a few days or when this cold goes.

Well for me i use micro's but it's totally your choice. Now i see we're talking about a different atty i dunno. Generally, line up that air hole for access to the coil.

Hi guys, tries the twisted Kanthal and it performed well. I now know how important it is to have air around your coil.

Saying that I them built two nano coils and had them sitting on top of the posts with cotton inside, but right in front of the airhole and it was great!

Still not the steam train I am looking for, but that might be because i need a High VG juice and becuase I won't go any lower than 0.7ohms....... this was 0.9 dual nano

Just got myself a magama and it works wicked nice warm vape with plenty of vapour using 50/50 mix juice and throat hit is a killer

I know you said you dont want to go below .7 on your setup, but the best clouds on drippers are usually at .4 or below, and yeah, high vg definitely helps. My current setup above blows great clouds at .28 and more importantly has great flavor and warmth. If it's your batteries, I reccomend picking up some sony vtc4 which are 30 amp and good to about .17 ohm.

Cheers Fash. Its not that I dont want to. Mmy last build was 0.4 ohm dual coil and was a beast. Its that I would rather play it safe until I've mastered it. But I'm gonna get some VG if I can find a decent make

So been dripping a week now, not exclusively as I use tanks for travel, I gotta say I really like the flavour and throat hit it gives. Its a bit of a PITA having to constantly drip but, at my desk or popping out for a vape break its ideal

its kinda the equivalent of having a cigarette in that when its done, you go back in, whereas with my 5ml tanks you tend to stay out until your batt dies

it's not convinced me enough to buy a more expensive dripper, but it's not better really . . . . . just different, in that its ALOT stronger and more flavour
