New to Dripping

Heres my different coils ive tried. One is a nano

Heres the .28 nano at 12 wraps sitting on cotton

I just dont get the satisfaction with rbas and rdas as I do my protanks

Its not as though theres no vapour. I wonder if its because protanks work in a smaller space that they perfom better for me

I've tried 60PG/40VG and 50/50 at 9mg and 12 mg

Can you recommend anywhere not too expensive. I pay around £3.50 a bottle normally

but even so

My RDA and RBA should outperform my protanks regardless of juice

Ahhhhhhh I think you nailed it! I had cotton inside and sitting on cotton!

Muct have got confused when I watched a Rip trippers video where he does not out any cotton inside just sits it on a bed of cotton.
I'll rebuild and let you know

you have just mixed your methods up mate if your new to it stick with the coil you have used with cotton fed through simple way that does everything you need as a new dripper. the super nano that sits on the cotton with no wick is a more advanced method. Im not saying you can't set up a brilliant nano coil right now if you try just that its easier to start with the basics.

Yeah. Funny enough though im getting better results with the nano on the cotton. I can't seem to get my fed through to heat up enough. Maybe I'm drowning it in juice lol

Could somene tell me a good set up. I have most materials now lol

Your helios is different to mine. The post set up on mine has the twin screws on the positive pin & the pins sit quite high too.
Don't know for sure if this will help you or not but with my build i don't pull my coils as close to the posts as in your pictures. They're a bit further out/ longer legs then & then i line up my two air holes so they are facing the outside wall of the coil, not the open ends of it.
I thread the cotton through each coil & then after trimming it i leave enough cotton on the end nearest the wall to just poke down & under a touch, then the other end (bigger bit of cotton) i tuck it back under on itself so it has like a u-turn. Then there's a gap between the two cotton ends directly under the coil to help with the air flow. Same for each side.

looks like your problem could be airflow, you could try the cotton through the coil method and dont use too much cotton, sometimes less is more with it, ill try get a picture of my twisted 28g microcoil and the way i have the cotton setup, there is an air channel right under the coil and above it and i get massive flavour, decent throat hit an clouds of vapour, im only running it at 1.3ohms single coil too, i was finding my dual coil sub ohm builds were a little harsh on my throat while ive got the manflu, switched it up to single coil and it was performing not quite as well but was staying cooler for my throat.
