Evening all.

Quick question in relation to my mod and tank.... I’ve had 2 x smok Baby aliens now.... i love the tank that comes with it .... but the flavours I prefer are sweet and pudding types..... problem is using the v8 coils and is turning out to be VERY expensive (using a coil a day - is this rightish?)

Can anyone recommend a more longer lasting tank and coil? There are various coil options for the baby beast mini... anything to do with the quad coil set up in them. I have a aspire cleito tank which seems to handle the juices slightly better but still, only getting around 2/3 days.

I vape at around 55 -65 W generally speaking.l and always prime the coils prior to use.

Many thanks in advance

Mez

Hello and welcome to the planet!

I had a baby beast but I didn't use it much, wasn't a fan of the tank or coil. My Aspire Cleito lasts around 30 days on a single coil (approx 120ml of juice) but I vape mainly fruity or slightly sweet juices at 35W. If you want longer out your coil, maybe consider dropping the wattage, especially if it's sweet or pudding.

My other tank is a Vaporesso Estoc. Coils don't last as long but they're much cheaper than the Cleito

Hi and welcome to POTV!
Stock coils are never going to be great at handling sweet juices and getting a couple of days is gonna be about right In my experience, the only way round that if your going to stick to sweet juices is going to be getting into building RDA s and rtas or the rba deck yourself I'm afraid.
Its not as scary as it sounds and there's a wealth of knowledge on the forum to help, you can buy pre made coils for them too so all you would have to do is wick them,
I'm not that clued up on rebuilding as i use old school rdas and rtas but not often at the mo so its gonna be worth having a search around to see what's the latest RDA or RTA that's in favour and ask for advice on that, of course only if that's the way you wanna go [emoji4]
Unfortunately its either that or your gonna be stuck changing coils often on your stock tanks

Cheers for reply mate.

I’d be over moon with 120ml of juice per coil. I’m literally getting anything from 10-30ml at the moment.

The problem with the coils I use is that they’re recommended used at 50-70 / 60-80 dependant.

Maybe a higher ohm coil needed. Always fancied the RBA (i think that’s what they’re called) but am clueless and have seen horror stories of folk blowing their faces up etc do to wrong resistance etc.

Realistically I’m looking for something that will last me 60-100ml of juice with no substitute of flavour.

Thanks again.

Cheers Richy.

Only just read this as I posted a previous reply.

I mentioned the RBA.... (RDA) but slightly concerned around the horror stories.

I’ll have a look around burn thanks for the advice.

Any idea how long they would last in comparison to a stock coil?

Thanks again.

The horror stories you here would be folk using rda's on mech mods and getting shorts or not building right for their batteries or even missfires, but thats a whole different ball game, and are actually safe if you know how to use them properly
your using aliens which are regulated mods so it wouldn't fire if it shorts or the builds too low etc, although in my opinion its still worth checking out ohms law and battery safety [emoji4]
Your still gonna clog a coil and wick often on a rba ,RTA or RDA using sweet juice , the difference is you would only need to rewick with a bit of cotton, and clean the coil that's installed, costing well less then a penny for a piece of cotton!

Thanks again Richy.

I’ll do some research over the next few days and see what’s what. There’s a few options for the Baby beast so will have a look about.

Thanks.
