New to Potv - specific question

Thanks again Richy.

I’ll do some research over the next few days and see what’s what. There’s a few options for the Baby beast so will have a look about.

Thanks.

Cheers for reply mate.

I’d be over moon with 120ml of juice per coil. I’m literally getting anything from 10-30ml at the moment.

The problem with the coils I use is that they’re recommended used at 50-70 / 60-80 dependant.

Maybe a higher ohm coil needed. Always fancied the RBA (i think that’s what they’re called) but am clueless and have seen horror stories of folk blowing their faces up etc do to wrong resistance etc.

Realistically I’m looking for something that will last me 60-100ml of juice with no substitute of flavour.

Thanks again.

Mez

I think my Cleito coils are 0.5ohm with a 35W to 45W range and flavour is good up to 100ml, with a slight burnt taste starting and growing over the last 10 to 20ml. Maybe try a higher ohm coil and see if it's to your liking, you'll be saving on juice and battery life too.

You can always go the rebuildable route and as long as you read up on what you're doing, you'll be pretty safe with a regulated mod like the Alien. I built my own coils a few times then decided I don't have the patience for it so I can't comment on whether or not lifetime will be improved. If you keep the same wattage and ohms, I assume they'd last as long as a stock coil but much cheaper.

Hello @Mezzer , Nice to meet you mate !!! +1 on the Cleito by the way !!!

The stock coil versus rebuildable dilemma rears it's ugly head for most of us vapers sooner or later. Unless you are filthy rich, eventually, buying those stock coils starts to feel like your money is going down the drain.

Always worth remembering though, it's still a helluva lot cheaper than smoking cigs and the health benefits are immeasurable, as you no doubt know.

If money really is an issue though, as it was for me and many others on this forum, eventually, you will want to explore the world of rebuildables. It really isn't dangerous, it will save you a fortune and you may not realize yet but, the vaping is often a lot lot nicer with rebuildables.

To start with you will need to spend a little money though to buy a few basic tools like some scissors, some wire cutters, some cotton and some pre-built coils but you soon get that back with the money you save.

You tube is your friend and will teach you all you need to know.

Below is a typical review of an RTA including a demonstration of how to rebuild the device.

Good morning and welcome,
I would suggest that starting with the tank in the video above,
Serpent smm,it's a single coil and easy to use.
You could buy pre made coils and with a little practice you will be made up.
There are plenty of people on here that have this tank,so you can get loads of advice.
I have one and build use coils at
.4 or .5 ohms around 40watts and it's great with custards and desserts

Hi and welcome to the Planet [emoji106]

I would also recommend having a go at rebuilding, it's no where near as difficult as people think and it is do much cheaper.

Thanks for all the replies thus far.

To update, I’d done a bit of research and have since purchased an avocado 24 bottom fill (was looking for 22 special edition but seem to be sold out / discontinued) .....

Ordered all tools (coil master set I believe) some pre built coils (although interested in building my own at some point in the future) and some cotton bacon.....

Currently awaiting arrival and will happily provide youball with an update ASAP.

Thanks once again for all your advice and guidance.
