New to this. Info on Vamo V5 required please.

As above . Have recently purchased a Vamo as a first MOD. Bit confused as to the wattage, volts etc. what is the reason for the adjustability and what would be a good average setting for me to choose to begin with? Also can someone explain "mean" and is it "RST"?

Wow. 24 hours and not a single reply. What a helpful forum. All I want is a quick link or explanation concerning wattage and or voltage adjustment and their effect on the whole vaping process. I assume I am in the beginners/noobie section therefore I know nothing.

Basically, set it in Wattage mode (which I personally prefer) and start low...say around 7 watts and working your way up to find the spot you like best, if it tastes rank or burny, lower your settings.

Also, higher ohm coils need more oomph so expect to use higher settings with higher ohm coils..

The RMS mode of the Vamo is the wattage setting....http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/root-mean-square-RMS I can't explain that to you as I am not a teacher or an electrician

I have a v2 and never go past 4.5watt i find the flavour goes wen any higher but never used the new 1 so it maybe diffrent

Hi, I just got one today I cant tell you much as like yourself I'm also new and
Just fiddleing about with it,I'm using a protank 2 and really like 4.4v nice n smooth
This is my first mod but the difference between what I was using is amazing!
I can see the vaping hobby costin a fortune lol.
