New user- Kanger Emow problems

@MrDJ might be able to shed more light as I think he's got the Crown IV tank.
Will what you just did, point him to this thread? if so that is a handy feature!
yup, tagging someones user name with a @ will wake them up :)

cant help with the emow as never seen or used one. all them ego batteries should still have a 10 second cut of though so you should still be able to get a good draw from it unless the battery is knakered.
have a look here http://myepack.co.uk/kits.html there is a emow on page 2 for £20 > http://myepack.co.uk/kits/kanger-emow-mega-kit.html

i love the crowns but have not tried the 3 or 4 so cant help much with that either but what ive read they are nice kits.
the only thing i will say is if you are going from the emow to a high end kit you will be going from a mouth to lung hit to a direct to lung hit which averages 50watts for the crown coils.

so @Hedders < (this is tagging like above) what nicotine strength are you using as the crown kits like most other higher end mods are more designed for 3mg nicotine or a max of 6mg.

have a gander at these 2 videos on the new crown 4 kit

just a heads up though that you will also need 4 batteries so to swap out when drained and also an external charger so the kit for £30 will end up around the £50-60 mark.

Thanks a lot for both messages.
I actually did by my emow kit from MyEpack.
As far as the mouth to lung and direct to lung thing I think i am probably a more natural at straight to lung and that has been what i have been trying to do with the Emow but just not getting the hit i am looking for, obviously.

With regards to the battery situation, i was hoping i could just charge it up over night using the USB cable that comes with it rather than swapping batteries and having a charging station. I have heard that some people do not advise charging them inside the mod though, is this your feeling too?

I have a charger that is designed for AA's and AAA's. I have never actually seen an 18650 type battery, would i be right in assuming they will not fit in my charger? (i guess i could have googled that, and I will)

ETA: Nicotine strength..I started at .12 but the latest bottles i have ordered are all .6 so hopefully they will be ok. if not i will step down to .3

mouth to lung (MTL) is like smoking a cig which is what i guess youve been doing with your pen kit.
direct to lung (DTL) is like a bong and inhaling direct into the lungs.
with mtl you can use much higer nicotine like 18/12/9mg while dtl its best at 3/6mg
there is now the new option of nic salts which are smoother but 20mg

i would never suggest charging anything over night be it ecig, phone anything. too many horror stories out there.
you can get a mod with a built in battery which will cut out all the extra batteries and charger.
there are a few mods that take 18650 batteries that can be charged while in the mod. a few of my vaporesso do that.

have a look through post 5 on this thread which has all our recommended hardware suppliers POTV Vendors & Recommended E Liquid Suppliers

buying kits from the uk you will be stuck with a poxy 2ml tank unless the website offers a bubble glass but not all do that. or buy from china like fastech and then you can get the full size tanks of 5-8ml depending on make.

thats a good question about a normal AAA charger. i have no idea if they will charge high power 18650 batteries but someone else will advise on that.
best place to look at 18650 batteries is our own Fogstar https://www.fogstar.co.uk/

Myepack are a good vendor, used to be on here, & to my knowledge & experience have good customer service, so well worth getting in contact.
As far as batteries & charging are concerned @MrDJ advice is right. Very few mods are designed for USB charging & in multicell mods there needs to be a balanced charge otherwise batteries deplete unevenly. As a short term stop gap USB charging is ok, but always better to err on the side of caution.
AA/AAA chargers aren't designed for 18650 etc as different chemical make up & 1.5v compared to 4.2v for vape batteries. Size will also be an obstacle :D.
