New user- Kanger Emow problems

Myepack are a good vendor, used to be on here, & to my knowledge & experience have good customer service, so well worth getting in contact.
As far as batteries & charging are concerned @MrDJ advice is right. Very few mods are designed for USB charging & in multicell mods there needs to be a balanced charge otherwise batteries deplete unevenly. As a short term stop gap USB charging is ok, but always better to err on the side of caution.
AA/AAA chargers aren't designed for 18650 etc as different chemical make up & 1.5v compared to 4.2v for vape batteries. Size will also be an obstacle .

I will get the device and see how i get on with it, and then start looking into accessories. Who doesn't like new gadgets

Ok, I found an old battery from a really cheap e-cig I bought a few years ago and it has the right fitment so I just charged it up and tested it with the emow tank. You can see how small it is when compared to the Emow one!

Anyway, although this budget battery has a lot less wattage ( I am guessing) it doesn't cut out like the Emow battery so I can get a longer draw!

Faulty unit on the new Emow?

That old battery is an ego type.
From memory (not always reliable) they only fire down to 1.2 ohm coils below that they will not fire.
They had a five second cut off.

What i remember and what are the facts are not necessarily the same thing.
Just went back and saw your 10s sugestion.
I used to have to take two part draw on ego because I like a long draw and the cut off was alway kicking in.
For sure there is a cut of that might be 5s.

Using that small battery it appears to have a 10 second cut off but to be honest with the amount of action i am getting with the combination of that battery and the Emow tank (or maybe the juice/1.8ohm coil i am using) I am still not getting what i would consider to be anywhere near a good lungful out of it.

Just to update , and a little shout out to MyEPack. I sent them an email explaining the battery issue and they are sending me out a new battery. Good customer service should be recognised.
