Hi all,

Ive been using a tw titan tank for the last 10 months but switched to a vv/vw device this week.

I have a ksd kmax and am well happy with it and am getting the hang of the one button menu system.

Now as you probably know this device has the capability of measuring resistance. I have a vivi nova and a kanger pro tank 2 and the device is showing the resistance at about 1 ohm above what is stamped on the atomisers in both tanks.

Do you think there is a fault with it? Apart from this the mod seems to be working fine and vapes like a dream.

Try testing something else on it, if that reads 1 higher hen yes but there are always some differences from rated values and dirt and poor connection can alter the reading too...

take off what ever you screwed on to it and dry it off ( all the threads around the bottom) & also clean the inside of the device... alittle liquid on the pin makes a huge difference to the readings you will get

also HI & Welcome to the Planet

:D

So if thats the case then its actually working fine and I shouldn't worry about burning out the coils.

If its only .1 yep that's fine :) it says 1.8 on the head and it reads 1.9 or whatever is pretty normal

Could be just bad heads. I've had blister packs of 5 heads from reputable vendors. That have 1.8 ohm stamped on them, where most of the heads are 1.8 or there abouts. I have had both extremes in the same pack.
As in 4 will be 1.8 ish and 1 will be 3.2 or something silly.

Nope, both coils in both tanks are reading 1 full ohm above their rating.

As above then, you could have a pack of crappy built heads, have you got anything else to test them on, multimeter?
