Hello fellow vapers!

I’m a newbie to the forums and a newbie to vaping.

I switched from cigarettes to vaping on the 25th September and initially used the Vype eBox and then purchased the Aspire Zelos which can with the Nautilus 2 tank. I’m finding the tank a bit temperamental in as much as I’m filling it correctly but it bubbles for a while. I’ve tried the various methods to clear the coil and am hoping it’ll settle down.

Cheers,

Rick.

Welcome ricke I use same setup , when you fill the tank screw the cap on half way then turn upside down and tighten fully, this solves the problem you are having. It's to do with pressure building in tank forcing liquid to base, above method forces air in to base instead.

Hiya,

I’ve tried that and had eliquid leak out everywhere.

Strange I had same problem but using the method above solved it for me and wife, never had a leak or gurgle since, maybe you're overfilling the tank? Or the coil is loose , sometimes when unscrewing top cap the small 0 ring inside cap grips top of coil and loosens the coil at the same time , I have a YouTube review link for this tank , he explains it better than me , I will find it and post here maybe it will help.

Here Rick he explains about the filling method around 9 mins into the video hope this helps.

Thanks for that link. I recall watching it a while back. I bought an additional tank and have been getting into the habit of stripping it down and cleaning it when I either change eliquids or coils. I changed the tank earlier and the coil was loose, which is why it was leaking a bit. So I’ll have to get in the habit of checking it when I refill the tank. Last time I turned it upside down before the final screw eliquid leaked, however I think the coil wasn’t tightened enough. Some times the tank is super tight on the Zelos and I have difficulty in unscrewing it. Maybe their next incarnation will address these issues?

Yeah sometimes I find the tank very tight when it comes to unscrewing top cap and on some occasions the coil has unscrewed with the cap, I think it's the o ring gripping too tight on the top of coil, good idea to clean and tighten the coil every refill or when you can be bothered lol, anyway even with these few problems I still think the tank is a very good one and worth putting up with the glitches probs will get used to it over time, I have been using it for about 5 weeks now and love it, as I had some real donkeys in the past mostly with coil problems. Oh well still learning, some great advice on here, good luck with it and happy chuffing.
