Are you holding the vape in your mouth, then inhaling it as you would with a fag, or are you inhaling it straight into your lungs in one go?

HI, I tend to press the button then put in mouth and inhale,then choke ,lol. Obviously doing something wrong .

I think you might be trying to use it like a fag, when the coil really wants you to inhale directly into your lungs.
Is there adjustable airflow on your tank? If there is, try closing it mostly off. Or try using it like an asthma inhaler. That is direct to lung vaping.

Unfortunately there is nothing adjustable on the PockeX , it is ready to go when you buy it. Which is why sales guy suggested it as good for someone just starting. I will try using it like asthma inhaler ansd see how i get on .Thanks for your tips

Welcome to POTV @soozz. Hopefully your cough will clear up soon.A lot of us have suffered from the great lung clear out. Persevere and listen to some of the experts on here and you'll be vaping happily in no time.

the coughing is normal and should clear within 2-3 weeks depending on how many and for how long you smoked. its just your body detoxing all the crap in your lungs left behind from the cigs.

never be affraid to ask questions no matter how silly you may think they are as normaly they are not silly at all and weve heard them all before

You might have got some down the hole in the middle. Just get a cotton bud and soak it out
