Non vanilla custard recipe

I’m looking for a non vanilla custard recipe as per the title I suppose lol.
Only had one custard before and that was vanilla, became sickly after a while so any suggestions appreciated for a custard novice.
Maybe I’m just allergic to vanilla
Dying to know what all the fuss is about with custards

I'm pretty sure it's the custard that sickly not the vanilla.. Maybe anyway, I love vanilla in all sorts of flavours but don't like custards at all.

I tried my first ice cream ....didn't like it I'm pretty sure its the vanilla, although once I left it for a month or so and the vanilla tamed off it was vapable.
I've just thrown a load of shortfall vanilla cake away

I'm lactose intolerant if that's what you mean, so it's probably both lol
I've never noticed anything with cream or milk though, colonels mango lassi was my adv for a while

No i meant a Custard without Vanilla is just milk or cream.

I was maybe looking for a strawberry custard or mango custard without vanilla recipe
I never knew custard without vanilla is not custard.

You could swap the fa custard Premium in this for the plain fa custard and swap the lb Vanilla Ice Cream for lb vienna cream.

If you do try the mango cream with those changes a try I'd be interested to know what you think.

I think vanilla ice cream is considered 'plain' ice cream by most people.
