What's new

Not satisfied with the T18 ii :(

I tried 18mg, 12mg and 9mg, it was sadly still the same result, I find 70% VG doesn't irritate my throat unlike 50/50 and nic salts, but it's the fact that even with 50/50 juice the T18 ii is just not bringing an satisfying results and can't taste barely any flavour from it either, I was looking at getting a innokin coolfire mini with the zenith D22 MTL kit, but I want to make sure it's the right kit choice before buying
maybe the same result as it was all 50/50. worth trying one bottle at 60vg just to see if that irritates your throat or is bearable.
if 60vg is suitable then at least you can buy 10ml bottles which already include nicotine. otherwise you will have to buy the larger bottles and nic shots and when your on a tight budget the last thing you want is to find the taste is shite and end up dumping it all.

reason for this is if you are dead set on 70vg then the majority come in shortfill 60ml bottles and you need to add nic shots to the zero nicotine juice.
for example
60ml shortfill bottle with 50ml zero nicotine juice + 1 18mg nic shot will make the final mix 60ml at 3mg nic strength.
if you want the final mix to be 6mg then you will have to take 10ml out of the large bottle to make room and add 2 18mg nic shots to make the final mix of 60ml at 6mg
problem is the more nic shots added the weaker the taste of the juice so this is why they were designed for low nicotine strength of 3-6mg max.

What is your opinion on a coolfire mini kit with zenith D22 tank? I've been researching all day my head feels like it's gonna explore at my final straw with the t18 ii vape I asked my partner to take a puff to see if he a non-smoker, non-vaper could taste the bubblegum juice that I had in it, he could only taste nicotine and a slight bubblegum but really slight, so it just come to the conclusion after trying so many different juices (I have a lot now just piling up) that it's the vape that's the issue :(
I have just got an innokin Coolfire Z50 with the Zlide tank it’s a great little kit with good flavour for MTL but I use 50/50 freebase juice but that suits me.

I will definitely have to give that a try, but I'd rather try that once I have a new vape that will actually give flavour out of the vaping experience I love the sound of the coolfire mini with the D22 tank set up they sound alot better than these vape pens that's for sure

Christina, you say youve tried lots of bottles. what makes of juice were they as there sure is a lot of shite and even fake juice out there.

im not the best to offer ideas on kit as all my 50 or so kits are duall battery high end kits.

the last small kit i bought was the vaperesso PM80SE which takes a single 18650 battery and its a great bit of kit when im driving https://vapoholic.co.uk/eliquid/vaporesso-target-pm80-kit/

Voopoo also do a decent kit that a lot talk about on here but not got that one.

just searched the kit you mentioned https://www.ecigarettedirect.co.uk/innokin-cool-fire-mini-zenith-d22-kit
The Cool Fire Mini Zenith kit is easy to use, and provides a mouth-to-lung vape. That makes it great for both newer vapers and those with some experience. With wattage range of 6-40 watts, vapers who prefer large clouds of vapers would be better off looking for a kit with more power.
says best for mouth to lung so that would i guess need 50/50 juice
  • 0.5ohm coils:
    Work best at 14-19W
(Offers a slightly warmer vape and slightly higher wattage)
  • 1.6ohm:
    Work best 10-14W
(Offers a cooler vape at lower wattages and works great with nicotine salts)

IVG was the biggest brand that I tried multiple with, chuffed sweets was another, vapemate classic, theres a couple others that I had tried but can't remember the names without digging them out the cupboard, the vapemate classic is currently what's in it which is bubblegum 12mg nicotine 70% VG, but literally can only taste a hint of bubblegum now and then, the vape itself doesn't really produce much flavour from the juices.

That's what I read also, you can use higher VG with them too, just wondering if it'd be a decent vape to get :)

oh dear, lol. IVG are coi; killers and sweetner overload. only tried a couple of shortfill bottles and ended up down sink. and a name from the past vapemate, must admit i found them total shite as well and all the bottle i bought went down the sink. it was 6-7 years ago though so may have got better, or not :)

it does sound like its the tank and coils causing the issue.
as i mentioned above it looks like that coolfire zenith that you liked the look of is more for mouth to lung so best with 50/50 so back to square one. im guessing the 0.5 will handle 70vg though. hopefully you might get some more replies about this kit.

i know this will be info overload but have a look through some of our recommended suppliers on post 5 to see if there is anything else that you like the look off.
any tank that advertises coils like 1.8, 1.6, 1.5, 1.2 are high ohm coils and need low wattage. (i thtink the 1.2 can handle around 20watts so similar to the zenith).
if 70vg is a must then any coil that starts with 0.2, 0.5, 0.8 will handle much more wattage so best with 70vg
hope that makes sence.
POTV Vendors & Recommended E Liquid Suppliers

here ya go. says it can handle 70vg

Christina,

The juice is just as important as rhe kit. I would use the eliquids recommended tbh. Ive used loads of juice and some taste so muted.

Ive not used the coolfire or the tank and honestly if you want more flavour woth 70vg i wouldnt bother

If you are looking for good flavour personally as I said i would go with Vaporesso, Voopoo, Aspire,

Im also reviewing the Vaporesso Fit 40 Air atm, thats a tank mod combo and the flavour is also spot on. Easy to use like the Gen Air i told you about, push in coils, airflow adj various coil choice.
Look at the review section too as they are members on here that have tried and tested the kit first hand

@ForestMagpie @red5 @Vapaneezer Scrooge

Can you help at all?

Thanks
