What's new

Oh my goodness, it's like another language!

Ok. Not long before the next question...!

tok my light saber out with me today, and have to admit, felt a little conspicuous

i know its ridiculous that people are everywhere with cigarettes on the go and I'm the one with the healthy option, but I did feel like I could do with something smaller when I'm out and about

any thoughts/ suggestions on a smaller more portable option that'll fit pro tank 2's or similar?

as ever, thanks for your help

You can get 'beauty rings' for the PT that'll help it fit on an eGo style, might have got them with them, so can get a weenie eGo. Or my personal fav teeny mech of the moment the BaGua 14500 clone (it's teeny and pretty!).

Hi Sean,

My first post here after repeatedly being directed to these forums on my new quest for 'vaping' info.
I started a week ago today (and haven't touched a rollie since Tuesday) completely on a whim. Thought I'd give it a whirl one day and it's been fantastic. But there's a steep learning curve. The jargon (oh, how I hate the jargon) reminds me of video game terminology. And the sheer amount of options is staggering.
I started with a Liberty Flights CE4 EGO kit and it's done me fine for the best part of the week, but I craved more. I've watched review after review on tanks, mods juices - and I still really have no clue what I am on about. So I narrowed my reviews down to two which I found informative and seemingly trustworthy: an English couple called the Vapourmists and an American guy from Indoor Smokers. I try and compare their opinions on devices which I find might suit me and see if there's a general consensus.
A week on, I rather foolishly bought another pen-type device with a larger battery due to it being cheap. And, yesterday, I thought bugger it and went for the device which intrigued me the most - the iTaste MVP2 (roll on Tuesday delivery day).
Anyway, I am going on a bit without a real point. What I am trying to say is my method for deciding which device is to compare a few trusted reviewers and that way I don't have to battle with the jargon. I will let you know when my MVP2 arrives whether or not it's a stellar one.

Edit: By the way, for a subtle approach while you're out and about, the Smok E Pipe mod seems to have gotten some pretty good stuff said about it. Pretty much fits inside your palm and costs around £35-ish.

I've only used vaping a little over 20 days; and only a little due to the fact that I haven't yet found a PG/VG ratio mix juice that doesn't give me Breathlessness!!! ( maybe I was initially overdoing the vaping??!!! Who knows, I'm not sure yet!) Was a heavy smoker on 40-50 a day before, now cut down a lot. But still looking for the right PG/Vg ratio juice! So would not bother at this stage with state of the art gear. Just a few ego batteries with a few ce4's. Keeping it simple!!! Good luck!!!:stop:

Ivd gone by that stage of giving a damn how i look. But what i have noticed is loads of people using fake fags / vaping. Spotting loads of people doing that so its obviously taking off big time.

Had a nose round the german market in solihull the weekend and half expected to find a vape stand, never mind, there is always next year :D

Pepper Yes the ecigs or cigalikes definitely seem to be taking off ( haven't seen much of the high tech gear yet ) for the first time I'm seeing a lot being used in coffee shops around where I live, a lot of the cab drivers around here are using them too now....

Hi There Sean1974 , Immerse yourself, spend some cash and soon you'll know what works for you. Great hobby and a really great community.

TBH I've not read the above replies, but a great place to start would be the iTaste with iClear 30 kit from myepack. @ £39 + shipping is great value and it's a unit that you'll use long after you would have (potentially) binned the cheaper starter kits..... or buy the best device you can afford. incremental buying always costs more in the long run...
With the money I've spent (not all regrettably) I could be rocking a Provari quite easily.... but I've had fun along the way.... it's only money!!

Enjoy your vaping!!!!!
