It is actually Japanese cotton.

It's better than normal cotton because 1) the fibres are lined up and 2) there aren't nearly as many cotton 'burrs' in it that impede the flow of juice.

It's not miles better. If you already have cotton that works well then there is no pressing need to change but it is noticeably better, especially in drippers. There's less of a difference in RTAs like Kayfuns etc.


Incidentally the reason 'organic' cotton is better than standard cotton. Is because it is unbleached. You don't actually give a stuff whether the cotton is organic or not, you give a stuff that it's unbleached.

I have found that it depends very much what atty you're using as to the difference between the muji and organic cotton. The kayfuns and taifuns vape well with muji but the heron floods and works better with cotton balls.
