It's a worrying time for everyone but shooting people that want food and aid is a terrible response.

Shooting someone is a ridiculous response and it seems that the less fortunate are at the brunt of it again while the rich sit in their ivory towers with everything they need, these are indeed sad sad times that we live in.

Whats wrong with people, it shows what a sick world we live in, the Police should be punished but as usual nothing will happen as they are beyond the law and supposedly are the law.

Unpopular opinion.

Okay so shooting people is extreme but that's an extreme government so not surprising.. if SAYING you'll shoot people has a good effect and you don't actually shoot anyone I'm okay with that in these times of adversity. I'm not bothered about the people getting a smack with a stick or forced to do embarrassing exercise at all. Maybe we can get that going over here? Oh you want to help spread a deadly virus? SMACK! I'm pretty sure getting hit with a stick by police is pretty standard in India, kind of our version of a fine. I know we're supposed to be super civilised but if some muppet is blatantly flouting the rules and putting others in danger I'd be happy with a 10% earnings fine and a smack with the stick.

Like you said we live in a more civilised society so it shouldn't be happening, there must be other ways to punish them and not have the poor fuckers bunny hopping or being hit with a stick, it's 2020 and this thing shouldn't be happening, if they break the law stick them in front of a judge who can sentence them appropriately, what the police are doing is for their own amusement, would they like it if the shoe was on the other foot and they were the victims.
