i did it by accident, in the postie, the first day the masks were compulsory. i took one step in and saw everyone with masks on, all staring at me, and stepped back out again. i don’t go in shops much these days, it will no doubt happen again.

Went in the local co op yesterday with no mask, then popped over to the post office inside a spar shop without one as well.

Once, about six weeks ago, I'd walked to the shop to get my beer, wasn't going home and back again to get a mask, I just tried to hold my breath and shallow breathe. But so ridiculous, shops, compared to pubs. I was in a pub yesterday, by the wide open doors, couldn't really sit outside because it was pissing down. The main problem is I, amongst many others sometimes forgot to stay seated, it was doing the poor landlady's nut in.

They’re not mandatory here in Wales, because we’re the Chosen Ones, or we’re backwards or who-the-fuck-knows why. I haven’t been in to a shop in about a month anyway - yes, I had a mask on, it was most disappointing because there was only a few of us in there :25:

Try saying Llanfairp................................ in a mask.

Shops.........Havent been in one since I was a lad, thats what wives are for.
( probably 3 shops in 2 years )

Popped up to the airport last night to pick the Mrs up and was very happy to see about 90% were wearing masks without there being anybody policing the rule.

I'm not wearing one, but missus has instead been doing the shopping lately
whilst I wait outside and help carry the bags to car etc...

Not gonna go there, it is what we have decided than risk explaining crap

Anyway...

Last night, late last night an associate was popping down to Tesco Extra just before they closed
He was going in & I was going to wait outside & vape etc...

He came out & had taken off his mask saying hardly anybody was wearing masks & come in
So I went in, sure enough I'd say half in a not so packed store was wearing masks
(I say half & I mean at least half, though not like 80% maskless)

Many people seemed to be of the same mindset, some had masks ready to fit
but once they neared the entrance they said - fuck it & just social distanced like we have been doing

I think smaller spaces masks should be mandatory, tiny shops, public transport (which I don't use)
but I'd rather not get into a debate or row about this mask stuff if possible
just saying what I saw locally late last night

Went to the chemist to get my prescription and the guy behibd me standing outsude no mask didnt even look like he was to bothered about it then at greggs two teenagers in the shop no masks again but they walked away looked like they wanted to nab and run more than anything else but the shop asistent was walking about the shop
