Hi, a couple of nooby questions if you don't mind :)

Do flavour concentrates have PG or VG in them? I'm curious as I am wondering if I should consider it in my mixing calculations when I get my materials.

Also, am I correct in saying that the higher nicotine base strengths are a better bang for buck as it is just a matter of mixing the correct ratio of the base to achieve the desired juice strength. Or are there advantages/disadvantages with higher nicotine base strengths, like maybe how well they keep in storage at higher concentrations?

Flavours are usually pg but they can be vg too. Yes, they need to be calculated. That's right. The higher the nic, the less you'll use so it'll go further. :-)

Most flavour concentrates are held in PG, Alcohol, or Water.

as kms said, all are pg based, I'm yet to come across one that is VG based, that doesn't mean their aren't any but very rare or few and far between

Thanks for the info :)

Do you consider the flavour concentrate as %100 PG in your calculations usually, or do you typically ignore this and only consider the pure PG in your calculations. I may be being a little over-analytical (it's in my nature lol), but I'm just curious how experienced mixers do their numbers.

yep just as 100%, you'll find most online calculators do this for you anyway :)

if you've got a android phone or tablet download the potv ejuice calculator from Google play store

That's great, thanks for your help whit77. I'm just making my own calculator, I like to know what's going on with the numbers (I will definitely check the android app out though too) :)

download the app and have a play about with it and everything will make sense :)

whit77 Is there any "how it works instructions" for the app? I ask as I can't seem to work it out so use the one at leisureliquids.
