Yeah, fair do's, I was planning the easiest possible method as my brother said he'd like one, but I can see him vaping it once then bunging it in a cupboard! Think I'll do a ego battery one for him, then if he uses it for any period of time I'll do him a upgrade!

Hmmm yeah, they look good!
now I'm torn between buying one of those and making one up. Though the satisfaction of modding one up is always good, if it turns out crap, I'll buy one of those and pretend I made it to my bro!

Done it for a bit of a laugh but I actually love it.

this is first class have you got the plans on how to build this one wouldnt mind giving it a good myself and what battery you used @noisysprings

Just made it up as I went along.

18350 battery with washer at bottom wired up pipe shaft to 510 connector.

micro switch inside body of pipe attached to side and still room for battery.

spring inside top cap which is a bezel off old torch with a wire going to switch.

Easy as that!

I grabbed a cheapo one of ebay for my first practise on, cost £1.99 and is made of real plastic! The thing damn near fell apart when I opened the box but that in itself is ideal for getting the gubbins in.
