Planning a Nottingham vape meet...

Chris. Just had another look at the Travelodge central hotel. They do not have a carpark. You have to park in a public carpark down the road that charge you. (money/charges bother me) but don't like leaving my car in a public carpark where I cant see it. Recommend me something else Chris that is within walking distance (I'm talking close here, cos the wife just might come to this one and she cannot walk far due to the operation she had on her knee where a horse kicked her) I do not care if it is a dive, has long at it is close, has a carpark and no dead tramps on the landing. HELP CHRIS.

I stayed here, it was £69 for the night, website says it has parking but I got the train

I did look at that one actually.

I know on Mansfield Road (Near the Park Inn Radisson) there are about 7 B&Bs in a row but it's about 20 minutes walk into town (Or 5 mins in a taxi) but they have free on site parking.

Ibis does not have free parking. The nearest car park, over the road, is really fucking expensive.

Jury’s Inn has parking, but a bit further away.

To be honest you would be cheaper on Mansfield road (Park Inn/Best Western) with a £5 taxi each way.

What might be an option is the Premier Inn at Hucknall. About 5 mins from the tram and then about 5 mins from the venue when you get off.

Good call from Dave there.

If you do decide to stay at Hucknall and get tram in, I'm happy to come to Hucknall and get tram in with you, makes it easier finding pub. Tram is only 5 minutes drive from me.

@3dj if you haven’t already booked, forget about that Premier Inn.

Tram works over bank holiday weekend so it will be a massive PITA.

I've been looking at Jury's. They have parking and it is not far from the salutation. I am going to talk to the wife about it when she has finished fuckin about with work. I really want the wife to come to Nottingham with me to meet all the idiots. :D Not you Dave, cos you've already met her. :D

Tch. I’m going to fancy a hotel at this rate unless you all shut up.

They don’t. The parking is by the train station, and costs extra, but they do provide a shuttle...or so they claim.

We stayed there last year the car park was 2-3 mins walk from the hotel and I think was about £11 over night but on the plus side the car parks next to a hooters :)@3dj @Mawsley explained it better than me :2thumbsup:
